Once we enable HTTPS Blogger, we must make sure all blog
urls are accessible so as not to reduce the amount of blog traffic.
Please check all your blog url to make sure blog can be
accessed via http://, http://www, https://, and https://www.
If the blog can be accessed with the four urls, then do
not worry our blog traffic will be reduced.
There are some blogger friends who complain after HTTPS
plug in blogger, traffic dropped dramatically. Apparently after checked, the
blog can not be accessed without the www either http or https.
This is because the non www redirect setting to www can
not be checked or can be checked but can not be saved.
This happens after the HTTPS plug and the non www to www
redirect setting is not enabled.
And the solution happened I found accidentally yesterday
before blogger friends complain can not redirect non www to www after setting
HTTPS.
After setting HTTPS, I tried idle to disable non www to
www redirect, but when it will be reactivated, its setting can not be saved. Of
course this could make me upset to open the DNS domain settings to make sure
nothing has changed.
But finally the solution non www to www this can not be
setting after HTTPS pairs I found by accident also after the head spinning ria
hehehe ...
So if by chance you are experiencing the same thing,
please do something like the following:
• Please disconnect or remove the custom domain first, so
will return to the blogspot domain and custom HTTPS domain settings will be off
again. After that please refresh his dashboard page.
• Then please install more custom domainnya by click
Setup a 3rd party URL for your blog then input your domain with www and tick
redirect non www to www then save settings.
• Then please setting HTTPS back to custom domain.
Apparently this domain redirect DNS settings conflict
with HTTPS settings. With the first release of custom domain then setting HTTPS
to custom domainnya be off again so that the process of domain redirects can be
done.
Well how easy is not it? Hope this helps.
